Sweet Surrender

The memories of childish laughter still linger in her head
The feelings of deep emotion wash her joyful heart
It's a feeling of sweet surrender
She reflected on the secret vibe they shared
It was a promise to be just what she could be
With no fear no care in the world
But to escape it sweet devotion
To surrender so freely to a feeling she cannot escape.

He looked at her and she was captivated by the smile
It was instant attraction and she thought for a while
Could this be the start of something beautiful?
As time went by she was more convinced
That his spirit had captured her wandering soul
And if only he knew that he has gently etched his name on her heart
And she gently said in reply "take me, I'm yours."
