Today

I was feeling very sad today
And truly hoped this pain would just go away
I have lost a friend
Strangely I never felt the friendship would end

I must call on my inner strength
To guide me the full length
I really hate to feel this way
And I just cannot take all this foray

I want to escape it all
Before my heart takes this major fall
Is it too late
To enter the Pearly Gate?
