A pleasant surprise

Its been more than 2 months and oh what a surprise it was
Being awaken by a lost familiar voice
Though under the weather I could not have felt better
When he knew he never had to introduce himself

Its a familiar voice, one I missed so much
At late nites and early morn
But on the other end of the receiver I heard the tune my heart wanted to hear

Oh how I wish it was not on the 'line'
